The refurbishment and extension of a house in Bloomsbury was carried out for a private client. The view looking out through the library reveals a pergola garden structure and a conservatory at the back of the house which is intended to make the most of a small enclosed garden, and is detailed to recall the intimacy and colour of a garden with a peristyle in a Pompeian House.
