The Old Hall
The Hall, built by Slavin in 1863, had been reorganised in 1908 and had the
gallery extended in the 1960s so as to accommodate an
unsightly stainless steel servery underneath. This servery
was removed and the hall refurbished with a new fire
escape provided both for the hall and the gallery space
above. The rear wall was restored and a new ventilation
screen installed incorporating the College coate of
arms. Panelling was installed in the old servery below
the gallery area so as to create a screens passage and
conceal a lift from the kitchen below.
