Proposal for the first phase of a Masterplan to regenerate and revitalise the north west quadrant of the city. The brief required a regeneration strategy to create a mixed use area including new buildings for the University of Bologna, the oldest university in Europe. To achieve a truly sustainable solution, the design for the new quarter incorporated all the shops, facilities and public spaces needed to make the neighbourhood vibrant and successful.
